Sara Lee
back With a studio and site-specific practice Sara Lee predominantly works with drawing, film and print, including etching and woodblock in the ukiyo-e tradition, all with a focus on landscape. Born in Wales in 1956, Sara Lee lives and works in London. She studied Fine Art Painting at Ravensbourne from 1975-1979 and Printmaking at Central School, graduating in 1982. She teaches at The Dulwich Picture Gallery and Rabley Drawing Centre, has written for Tate, and advised & spoken on print processes for various individuals and institutions including The Art Fund, The Royal Academy Schools, Hatton Gallery and Tate. She frequently exhibits in the UK, is a regular exhibitor at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, was a prizewinner at Originals and selected for the British Printmaking Show, Kyoto, Japan. |
